3/5 stars iPlayVR was a decent experience overall, but I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars because it had both enjoyable moments and noticeable areas that could be improved. The idea of the place is definitely fun, especially if you enjoy virtual reality games or want to try something different from a regular arcade, movie, or indoor activity. It has potential, and there were parts of the experience that were exciting and entertaining. The VR games themselves were fun at times. When everything was working smoothly, the experience felt immersive and interesting. It was cool to step into a virtual environment and interact with the games in a more active way than traditional gaming. Some of the games were engaging and gave us a good amount of entertainment, especially when playing with friends or family. The concept is strong, and I can see why people would enjoy visiting. However, the overall experience was not perfect. Some parts felt a little disorganized, and the flow of the visit could have been smoother. I recently visited IPlayVR with my family, and it was honestly a great time. What stood out the most was that there was only one staff member there, but she handled everything so well it never felt like we were waiting or missing anything. She was really helpful from the start—took the time to understand what kind of experience we were looking for and gave solid recommendations. She suggested The Thrill Ride for us, and she was spot on. It ended up being exactly what we were looking for and probably the most exciting experience we tried. You could tell she knew the games well and wasn’t just guessing—she made sure we got the most out of our time there. She also made sure we were set up correctly, explained everything clearly, and checked in on us throughout to make sure we were good. That level of attention made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable, especially since we had a mix of people in our group. Overall, we had a really fun time, and a big part of that was the service. Even running things solo, she made it feel easy and organized. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re looking for something different and fun to do with family or friends.
